邱國平,深圳大學電子與信息工程學院特聘教授、博士生導師、深圳大學智能機器人研究中心主任、珠江領軍人才、浙江省和四川省特聘專家。入選美國斯坦福大學全球前2%頂尖科學家榜單,人工智能和圖像處理領域全球排名1691位 (前0.8%)。曾在英國多所研究型大學任教二十多年,英國諾丁漢大學計算機科學學院視覺信息處理終身講座教授。研究興趣包括計算機視覺、人工智能、機器學習和多媒體信號處理等相關學科領域。在相關國際核心學術期刊和國際學術會議發(fā)表論文二百五十多篇、獲多項美國和歐洲專利、在國際知名模式識別和圖像處理學術大會上獲最佳論文獎。基于邱教授團隊研究成果創(chuàng)立的高科技公司已成為國際高動態(tài)圖像及相關攝影技術產(chǎn)品的領導者,在全球二百多個國家擁有上億用戶。主持和參與政府和商業(yè)科研項目經(jīng)費折合超過二千萬人民幣。擔任國際圖像處理和模式識別領域重要國際學術期刊副編輯,國際視覺信息處理和多媒體學術會議主席及技術委員會主席。擔任歐盟、英國、荷蘭、以色列、新加坡和香港特區(qū)政府科研基金評委,以及多家跨國公司的技術顧問,曾任英國諾丁漢大學國際博士創(chuàng)新研究中心主任、中國校區(qū)計算機科學學院院長、理工學院院長等行政職務。
