報告簡介:
In 5G mobile networks, massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and heterogeneous networks (HetNets) play crucial roles to achieve expected coverage and capacity across a variety of deployment scenarios. This talk correspondingly addresses software-defined network (SDN) as the central controller of radio resource management in massive MIMO HetNets. In particular, we identify the following two grand challenges: 1) management of huge spatial domain information; 2) coordination of complicated network MIMO. In our proposed scheme, SDN controller first collects the user channel state information (CSI) in an efficient way, and then calculates the null-space of victim users and applies linear precoding to that null-space. Our work highlight network MIMO aspects, including flexibility and complexity of spatial coordination. Simulation results show that our design is easy to deploy and highly beneficial.
